Brownies for everyone!!

Chocolate Brownies




Time Taken : 15-30 mins


Ingredients:
1/2 cup - margarine or butter
2 to 3 tbsp - cocoa

1 cup - powdered sugar
1/2 tsp - baking powder
2 - eggs
1/2 tsp - vanilla
1/3 cup - chopped nuts

3/4 cup - Maida



Method
  1. Place margarine or butter in a bowl and microwave on high for 1 � minutes. Add cocoa.
  2. Mix well and microwave for 30 seconds. Allow to cool. 2. Mix all the dry ingredients together.
  3. Beat the eggs with essence and combine with the cocoa mixture. Stir in the dry ingredients.
  4. Pour in a lightly greased 8� square dish. Shield the corners* with pieces of aluminum foil and microwave on high for 5 to 7 minutes.
  5. Remove the foil. Allow to stand for 10 minutes. Cool and cut into pieces
  6. *When a cake is baked in square or oblong dish, corners absorb more microwaves than the other areas.
  7. So tiny triangular pieces of foil are placed over the cake mixture at the corners. This is called shielding.
